Explore Downtown Discovery Green’s® Spring Calendar Programming
Discovery Green, the 12-acre park in downtown Houston, announces a full spring season of events and invites Houstonians to explore the city with an array of outdoor activities. Residents and visitors are encouraged to check out the programming with family and friends. All events, unless otherwise noted, are free.
Houstonians thrive in Discovery Green’s beautiful outdoor setting. This spring season of programming gives children the opportunity to learn with outdoors STEM activities during the return of FUNomenal Spring Break. Families will make lasting memories as they enjoy the outdoor roller rink or cozy up to watch a movie during Bank of America’s Screen on the Green. Art and culture will be celebrated during a Thursday Concert Series presented by UHD and as visitors admire the newest mural by Zozo Garcia.
“We recognize the ongoing pandemic has created an increased desire by Houstonians to engage in social events and connect with friends and family. Bank of America’s partnership with Discovery Green and Screen on the Green allows us to support our parks and community spaces while contributing to the production of safe, no-cost outdoor programming for all of our neighbors to enjoy,” said Hong Ogle, president, Bank of America Houston.
This season’s lineup includes something for everyone – from families with small children, to music-loving adults and fitness buffs. Guests are encouraged to social distance and wear masks when social distancing isn’t possible. All events are subject to change, please refer to www.discoverygreen.com for updates.
