Frank’s Americana Revival Launches “Italian Summer Holiday” Menu Benefiting No Kid Hungryby Intown StaffAugust 6, 20220Shares00Polpette – Frank’s AmericanaFrank’s Americana Revival, a neighborhood favorite blending together the best of classic dishes with regional influences and contemporary twists, today announces it will offer diners a special “Italian Summer Holiday” menu benefiting No Kid Hungry during the month of August.“I have been personally involved with No Kid Hungry for more than 20 years,” said owner and award-winning restauranteur, Michael Shine. “My family and I have a tremendous passion for kids, and we believe working to end childhood hunger is extremely important.”Drawing inspiration from the Italian families that were very prominent in the Post Oak/Galleria area during the first half of the twentieth century, the “Italian Summer Holiday” menu at Frank’s pays homage to the Sicilian-owned farms that provided a wealth of produce and contributed to the thriving culture in the area surrounding the restaurant. In addition to Frank’s regular dinner menu and nightly specials, the “Italian Summer Holiday” menu will allow guests to choose one item from each of the three categories including the first course, main course, and dessert course for $49. The menu will also be available at lunch without dessert for $39. For each meal ordered, Frank’s will donate $5 to No Kid Hungry. The menu offers traditional Italian appetizers such as Crispy Calamari with arrabbiata and garlic lemon aioli and Polpette meatballs made with a blend of pork and beef, served with ricotta, parmesan, and marinara. Main courses include dishes such as Gnocchi Marinara with ricotta fresco, basil, and Grana Panada, or Smoked Salmon Pasta with spaghetti nero, garlic, lemon, and olive oil, zucchini, blistered tomato, pecans, and dried chile.
