Nearly 400 guests gathered at the Crystal Ballroom at The Rice to raise $400,000 for Elijah Rising, which aims to end sex trafficking in Houston through prayer, awareness, intervention, and aftercare. Gala funds will go towards critically important programs and restorative care for survivors. Support will provide trafficked women tangible ways to exit their exploitation and opportunities to rebuild their lives.

Kent Matthews Clingerman, of Johnny Bravo Entertainment served as the Master of Ceremonies throughout the evening and Joshua Broome served as the keynote speaker. Joshua, a former adult film actor, is now a passionate believer in the power of restoration and healing through faith.

Powerful monologues featuring local actors were performed, and Elijah Rising Executive Director Micah Gamboa and Cindy Canevaro, Vice President of Public Affairs McNair Interests, addressed the crowd.

Silent and live auctions featured a Grand Canyon Glamping trip, a goldendoodle puppy, Cabo San Lucas trip, Astros tickets and much more.
