The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary recently held their 20th Anniversary fundraiser, Reflections on Style Luncheon, Runway Show and Chic Boutique, blending a jubilation of fashion, philanthropy, and community engagement. This ultimate re-sale extravaganza sold out in 5 minutes breaking all records in attendance and dollars raised. Themed “Girls with Pearls”, the event encapsulated the spirit of women uniting for a positive impact. ROS 2024 reflected the timeless elegance of years past and was action packed with women lining up 30 minutes in advance to be the first ones in the ballroom to shop.

Leading this coveted event were the esteemed Co-Chairs of the Luncheon, Lilly Andress and Ann Bookout; Showroom Co-Chairs, Gayle Eury and Stick Delaup; Chic Boutique Co-Chairs, Amanda Gelb and Louise Chehlaoui.

This year’s distinguished honoree, Michelle Bain, received recognition for her generous support and longstanding commitment to The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary and various other commendable organizations. Michelle was the inaugural Chair of the very first Reflections on Style event 20 years ago, setting the stage for years of success and community impact. “We are thrilled to be working with Lilly Andress and Ann Bookout, as they bring years of experience, passion and dedication to the 20th ROS, ensuring an event that celebrates both style and substance,” said Major Carolynn Webb. “We are honored to recognize Michelle Bain for her exceptional dedication and contributions, shaping the legacy of our organization.”

This annual sold out luncheon continued with its 4 day fashion sale event. The event raised over 1, 160,000 million and still counting with over 500 guests attending the luncheon and more than 2,000 people shopping the 4 day sale.

The very best shopping deals come from some of Houston’s best closets. The Boutique showcased “Pre-Loved” or new designer clothes, shoes, handbags and jewelry from top designers such as Valentino, Akris, Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Naeem Khan as well as many mid- range treasures from Tory Burch, Trina Turk, Alice and Oliva.
