Passport to Hope: Fall Antique & Design Show Preview

For those who love hill country and antiquing, an innovative charity event is being planned for October 9, 2024, by the Compound Antique & Design District and the White Barn in Round Top.

The event is called The Passport to Hope and will benefit The Susan G Komen Foundation’s Houston Chapter. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to help further their outreach programs and expand vital research.

Passport to Hope is a fun-filled event that will be an exclusive ticketed “Sneak Peek” preview before the opening of the big Fall Antique & Design Show on Oct 10, 2024.
We are gathering 10 to 12 of the country’s most celebrated interior designers to create elaborate tablescapes that will be displayed throughout the 8 buildings that make up the compound’s antique & design district. Guests will be able to shop our dealers as they wander from tablescape to tablescape with a portion of the sales going to The Susan G. Komen Foundation.
There will be grazing stations by Houston’s a’Bouzy, a silent auction, raffle prizes, and an open bar. We are expecting 350 influential designers, dealers and prominent shoppers from all over the world to attend.
Julie Dodson, Mary Patton, Renae Abbott, Alexandra Killion, Sarah Eilers @ Lucas/Eilers Design Associates, Suzanne Duin/Maison Maison, Michael Harold, Dr Quinn Peeper, BANDD/Design Sarah Malek Barney & MK Workshop are confirmed so far.
As many may already know, Round Top, TX, has become an internationally celebrated antique and design mecca, thanks to the annually held spring and fall antique shows that attract thousands of interior designers and shoppers to the numerous venues dotting the serene landscape surrounding the quaint town of Round Top.
The Compound Antique & Design District is a premier multi-acre, master-planned event and entertainment venue that hosts over 35 international antique & design merchants including Fickle International, Julie Burns Antik Haus, Laurier Blanc, Artifacts, Uniquities, and numerous other revered purveyors of fine antiques and decorative arts.

Round Top may be a small town, but it has a big heart.
