“The Continental Club has been a second home for me, it only makes sense to record and film in that space. We wouldn’t be where we are without the support of our community. There’s something truly spiritual about everyone being connected—the musicians, myself, and the energy of the dance floor.” -Christopher Seymore
Nationally recognized artist Christopher Seymore is from the rolling, pine-covered hills of upstate South Carolina, making music in Houston for over ten years. Raised on a rich heritage of old-time and honest-to-goodness country, Seymore draws his influences from the solid whiskey-soaked standards of the golden era. Seymore’s band, The Western Cosplay, includes Houston natives: Avery Davis (management/drums), Caleb Lindley (pedal steel), Randy Lindley (upright bass), Kevin Skrla (lead guitar, baritone guitar), and Damian O’Grady (keys).

“Collaborating with local businesses such as Howdy, Milam & Greene, Lonestar, Music Water, Do713 and Walker Texas Lawyer is more than a transaction; it’s an investment in our community. Their support fuels our initiatives, we grow together, fostering a genuine connection.” -Avery Davis
Emily Jaschke will produce the event and serve as Creative Director alongside Christopher Seymore, and Avery Davis. Paul Davis, Daniel Jackson, and Tyler Tran will lend their artistic multimedia talents.
Luba Dvorak will engineer the album in real time.
“I was salting floors in honky-tonks before I could even reach the bar, so partnering with a collective that honors the true spirit of classics feels natural. Raw, honest lyrics about love, heartbreak, and life’s bittersweet struggles. These fellas are committed to preserving the heart of country music, the divey vibe of the scene, in our contemporary reality.” -Emily Jaschke
Fifty music fans can invest in the live album production by purchasing an elevated concert experience and becoming a recognized album investor, plus extra perks, exclusive merchandise, and party swag.
“Texans embody the spirit of the Wild West, and Houston proudly celebrates ‘The Wild Side of Life.’ What better way to honor our rough and rowdy roots than by investing in local live music? Support the time-honored tradition of hootin’ and hollerin’, dancin’ and wildin’— like a true honky-tonk angel.” -Emily Jaschke
“Come ready to have a good time, dress to impress, let’s get rowdy and show what our little scene and our city is about. Let’s carve out our own place in the grand tradition.” -Christopher Seymore
