The Honor Foundation (THF), a nonprofit career transition program dedicated to supporting U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF), successfully hosted its Fourth Annual Gala in Houston at The C. Baldwin, downtown. This event raised critical funds to prepare SOF members transitioning from military to civilian life, showcasing the foundation’s commitment to helping these elite warriors become the next generation of corporate and community leaders.
Leading the helm of this event was H. Malcolm Stewart and THF’s Houston Steering Committee—comprising Malcolm Stewart, Frank Muller, Chris Schilling, Natallia Ornelas, Pat Strawbridge, Dick Davis, and Ruben Arriaga—the evening honored the service and sacrifices of our nation’s elite warriors.
Over 300 guests came to hear the featured keynote speaker, The Honorable Michael R. Pompeo, the 70th Secretary of State (2018-2021) and the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (2017-2018). Attendees enjoyed an evening filled with entertainment, cocktails, a seated dinner, and direct experiences shared by SOF warriors. The event also included a silent auction, live auction, and the “fund-a-cause” initiative to further support The Honor Foundation’s mission.
“This gala not only celebrates the extraordinary dedication of our Special Operations Forces but also supports their crucial transition to civilian life,” said Stewart. “Our warriors deserve the tools and training to navigate this significant change, and The Honor Foundation is proud to provide that support.”
The Honor Foundation’s program is designed to help SOF members overcome the challenges they face during their transition, offering tailored executive education, one-on-one coaching, and access to a nationwide professional network. With nearly 3,000 graduates and campuses across the country, THF empowers these outstanding individuals to realize their maximum potential during and after their service careers.
