In a record-setting year for both attendance and funds raised, 315 guests gathered at River Oaks Country Club on Feb 5th to raise more than $250,000 for First Tee – Greater Houston youth. Annually, First Tee – Greater Houston provides opportunities for more than 300,000 local youth who participate in elementary, after-school, and traditional golf programs. Founded in 2004, the mission of the First Tee – Greater Houston has been to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.  

Chairs were Megan and Michael Kaufman and Stephanie and Chris Walker  

The lunch was emceed by host Deborah Duncan. During the lunch, guests heard from outstanding alumni Dr. Owais Durrani and saw videos of Game Changing 2025 Core Values Honorees Ken Fisher and Henry Noey. 

Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch which included River Oaks Country Club Salad featuring a trio of baby greens, carrot, cucumber, pickled red onion, green peppers, red and yellow tomatoes, and balsamic dressing; Pan Seared Champagne Chicken; and a traditional chocolate pecan ball for dessert.
