The Junior League of Houston ‘s 2013 Charity Ball “The Bayou Ball”
For 2013, The Bayou Ball is a celebration of Houston and The Junior League’s community efforts. It will feature an action-packed evening of entertainment with cocktails, musical show, dinner and dancing. To kick off the events, a cocktail party will be held on Feb. 7. The kick-off event, beginning at 6:30 p.m., will include cocktails, dinner and a sneak peak at the League’s musical show. Following the kick off will be dinner and dancing and show on Friday, Feb. 8th, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 9th, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. The 2013 Bayou Ball is presented by Junior League President Catherine McCoin, Ball Chair Elizabeth Love and Underwriting Chair Keri Herrin. The attire is Black-Tie. The Charity Ball is the primary source of funding for the League’s Community Program and all underwriting dollars for the event go directly to support the organization’s community efforts, which provide approximately $2 million in trained volunteer time and direct financial support to 37 community and League-initiated programs.
