In between the action, a delicious lunch will be served alongside beverages, light snacks and live music by Thunderado for attendees to enjoy. At the end of the day, team awards will be distributed, and the winners of the curated raffle, featuring items from antique guns to a liquor collection, will be announced.

Vita Living is a nonprofit human services agency that provides life changing support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Texas, allowing them to live meaningful, integrated lives in the community. In 1982, Founder Renée Wallace was determined to create a lifelong home in Houston for her adult son with severe disabilities and challenging behaviors. Since the Beechnut home’s opening in 1985, the first licensed group home in the state of Texas, Vita Living’s goal has been to keep those they serve in the communities they know and love, regardless of evolving healthcare needs.
Today, Vita Living owns and operates twenty Houston-based group homes for up to eighty adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Homes are staffed 24 hours a day, and clients receive individual support as needed. Ninety-seven percent of resident clients attend the Vita Living Center, where they enjoy tailored activities and receive medical attention as needed. The Community Living Assistance and Support Services (CLASS) case management program is designed for people with developmental disabilities living with family or independently. Currently, the program extends case management services to over 300 children and adults across a seven-county region in Texas.
Vita Living is proud to be a leading agency of disability services in Texas, committed to providing tailored support to this vulnerable population, allowing for purposeful community living.
