14th Annual “Salute the Heroes” Fishing Tournament A Day of Honor, Fun, and Giving Back
The 14th Annual Salute the Heroes Fishing Tournament will cast off on Saturday, May 10th at Waterman’s Marina in Galveston, Texas. “This year’s event marks the largest tournament ever organized by the Heroes for Freedom Foundation, with over 30 boats and individual guides taking more than 100 warriors out on the water”, says retired US Army Special Ops Captain, Philip W Jalufka, CEO of Austin, TX based Legacy International Resort Properties.
Hosted by the Heroes for Freedom Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, this inspiring day brings together community, camaraderie, and appreciation for our nation’s heroes—providing a unique opportunity for veterans and service members to connect and enjoy a well-deserved day of competitive fishing and fun.
